Peel and chop the potatoes, onion, garlic cloves and celery.
Put these in a Crockpot.

Add milk and 1/2 tsp of salt.
Cover and cook on low heat for 5-6 hours or until potatoes tenderize.

Add 1-2 tbsp of chopped fresh parsley 10 minutes before serving, as a garnish, if desired.
Taste and add salt and pepper according to your taste.
