Place flour, paprika and cayenne pepper in a bowl.

Toss steak cubes in the flour and spices, and then set aside.

Place 1tbsp oil in the base of a slow cooker.

Slice carrots and mushrooms into chunky slices and place in the bottom of the slow cooker.

Turn cooker onto 'low'.
Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large frying pan.

Fry onion and both types of garlic on med-high heat for 5 mins.

Place in cooker.
Heat another 1 tbsp oil in the pan.

Place meat cubes in frypan and sear until browned on all sides.

Add tomato paste and cook, stirring, for 30 seconds.

Add can of crushed tomatoes, beef stock, Worcestershire sauce and ketchup, and stir until heated through.

Place all ingredients from the frypan into the slow cooker and stir all ingredients together.
12.
Cook on 'low', stirring every couple of hours, for 8 hours.
13.
Season with salt and pepper.
Serve with pasta and greens.
